Dog with prosthetic paws gives Ukraine war veterans strength to heal

Lavr, a Ukrainian dog fitted with titanium prosthetic front paws, is helping war veterans recover at a rehabilitation center in Kyiv. Viacheslav Zaporozhets, Lavr’s owner and the centre's founder, said Lavr was found near Odesa’s railway station after a train severed both of his front paws.
