A best-selling author born in the Cotswolds has died at the age of 82.
Joanna Trollope died peacefully in her Oxfordshire home yesterday (December 11), according to her daughters Antonia and Louise.
Born on December 9, 1943 in her grandfather's rectory in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, the well-known author leaves behind her loving family of children, grandchildren and friends.
Trollope was best known for her novels set in rural middle England and focused on domestic life and relationships including topics surrounding affairs, blended families and adoption, to parenting and marital breakdown.
