GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Wednesday.
Fire Chief Lucas Tinsley says fire units were called to 107 Embark Court.
When firefighters arrived, there were no visible signs of a fire at the building.
Crews entered the building and discovered an apartment with smoke coming from the door.
Inside the apartment, firefighters saw smoke coming from a bathroom fan. No flames were present.
Firefighters say a breaker to the room was tripped and a neighbor used a fire extinguisher before fire units arrived.
A fan was used inside the apartment to clear the air.
Firefighters removed a portion of the ceiling to use thermal imagery to identify a potential fire.
No flames were detected.
Tinsley says units were on scene for one hour and ten minutes.
