New Delhi: Rubbishing talks of exit from the media-rights deal, the International Cricket Council and JioStar confirmed that the four-year deal still stands. A report published in the Economic Times mentioned that Reliance-subsidiary JioStar has informed the ICC of its intention to pull out from its four-year India media-rights deals ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup due to massive financial losses.
It was reported that, citing estimated losses of Rs 25,760 crore in 2024-25, up from Rs 12,319 crore a year earlier, JioStar wants to end the deal two years before completion.
