Tributes have been left to a man who died after falling from a ladder while hanging up Union Jack flags on a lamppost.
Paul Lumber, 60, suffered multiple injuries, including serious head injuries, following his fall from a height while putting up flags near his home in South Bristol back on November 23.
He was rushed to hospital after the accident, but he tragically never woke up from an induced coma, and passed away late last week.
Paul, an avid football fan, had started an online fundraising campaign to raise money to purchase more flags as one of a number of people in his local area who spent the time they had spare typing both Union and St George flags to lampposts in Bedminster, Bedminster Down, Knowle, Hartcliffe, Hengrove and Whitchurch.
