BALTIMORE —

A Baltimore native and comedian is trying to make the holiday season less of a challenge for some families.

Jess Hilarious is kicking off the first stop of her new stand-up tour, "Don't Play Wit' Me," at Nevermore Hall.

The comedian is using the opening night of her tour as a chance to give back to the community.

While her first show is a free show, attendees are asked to bring a toy for a toy drive. Jess Hilarious said she paired up with her childhood church to distribute toys to families in need during the holiday season.
