L.L. Bean is expanding its brick-and-mortar footprint nationally in 2026, and that includes a new store opening in Ann Arbor.
L.L. Bean announced on Dec. 9 that it will open eight new locations in 2026, in addition to reopening its flagship location in Freeport, Maine.
The did not say where in each city the new stores would open in 2026. The company currently has one store in Michigan, at the Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township. The company lists 68 retail stores on its website.
Under renovation since January 2023, the flagship L.L. Bean store will reopen fully in fall 2026, according to a news release.
