The number of government attorneys who moved to law firm offices in the Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia region in the first ten months of this year rose by more than 225%, compared with the same period last year, according to lateral attorney data. It's a larger-than-expected lateral migration, amid the first year of the second Trump administration, observers say.
