After nearly a decade of marriage, Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley are going their separate ways.

"The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star and her venture capitalist husband, who married in 2016, have split up, representatives for Newport confirmed to USA TODAY on Friday, Dec. 12. The reason for the couple's separation was not disclosed.

"After thoughtful consideration, Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley have separated," Newport's representatives said in a statement. "This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another. They ask for privacy during this time."

Newport has previously opened up about her tumultuous marriage to Bradley on "Real Housewives." During Season 5 of the Bravo reality series, the fashion blogger revealed to her castmates that Bradley cheated on her in the past.

"The real truth is that my relationship is just as hard as everybody else's in its own ways and has had its very low lows that were very hard for me," Newport reflected in a confessional.

"This is a side of me that these ladies haven't yet seen, but I want them to understand that I bleed the same way that they all do. I cry about things, and that that side of me is there if they're open to it."

Bradley's alleged infidelity came to light during a family trip the couple took with Newport's daughter, Gwen, who Newport said discovered that Bradley had been messaging someone on his iPad.

"It's a fatal flaw of his. What's good for him in business is that he's never satisfied. He's always pushing for the next deal, the best deal, whatever," Newport told her "Real Housewives" castmates. "It's hard to turn that off when you come home."

Newport said Bradley later gifted her a five-diamond ring as an apology gift, with each stone representing "five promises" of goodwill for their relationship.

Despite their marital troubles, the TV personality shared during the Season 5 discussion that she still "adore[d]" her husband, explaining, "I think I mean as much to Todd as any person can mean to him, but I think Todd means more to me than I mean to him."

"Todd works 3,000 miles away from me five days a week," Newport said. "So, there's always going to be a lump in the back of my throat that if I'm not super supportive, if I'm not super there, if I'm not super caring, if I'm not physically there, it's always going to be the same."
