Rangers have seen the path for a potential Ibrox return for Joe Aribo cleared after Charlton confirmed they are not looking to re-sign the out-of-favour Southampton star. ‌

Aribo made the £6million move to St Mary's from Gers back in 2022 but has yet to make a start in his seven appearances for the Championship side this season. The Nigeria international is set to become a free agent when his current deal expires summer, meaning he can speak to clubs outside England with a view to penning a pre-contract agreement from January 1. ‌
