A 16-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday after threats about a shooting locked down a high school in Manchester.
Officers were dispatched to Manchester High School just before 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in response to a threatening complaint, according to the Manchester Police Department .
A parent reported that a 16-year-old who was not a student at the high school was allegedly on his way to the school with a gun to confront another student, police said.
According to police, officers immediate notified administration who placed the school on lock down as a precaution.
Responding officers located the 16-year-old boy and took him into custody. Police said no weapons were recovered.
