SPIRIT LAKE RESERVATION — A Spirit Lake man recently charged with the murder of his brother faces an additional nine charges, including manslaughter for the death of a person presumed to be Jemini Posey, who has been missing from the Spirit Lake Reservation since January 2024.

D'Angelo James Hunt, 26, was arrested in November after the remains of his brother, Isaac James Hunt, were located during a family-led search of their father's property. His brother, 27, had been missing since March 2024.

D'Angelo Hunt is charged with second-degree murder for allegedly killing his brother with malice aforethought, according to court documents. He waived his detention hearing and agreed to remain in Grand Forks County custody until his case resolves.
