U nion Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Friday held a high-level review meeting with aviation authorities and airlines to assess India’s readiness for the winter fog season, a period known for frequent flight delays and disruptions. The meeting comes at a time when IndiGo is already facing major operational challenges nationwide.

In a post on X, the minister said he had chaired a “comprehensive review meeting” with the DGCA, Airports Authority of India (AAI), airport operators, airlines, and CISF. The focus was to ensure that all agencies strictly follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for managing low-visibility conditions.
