Jax Richards-Dyson of Holley is described by his high school principal as “a thoughtful, driven, and community-minded young leader whose impact reaches far beyond the classroom.”

Jax, the son of Shawn Dyson, founded the Future Teachers Club, which will launch this spring at Holley Junior-Senior High School, where Jax is a senior. The club will offer high school students hands-on experience mentoring elementary students in literacy. The initiative, says High School Principal Matthew Feldman fosters “both community connection and career exploration.”
