Julian Alvarez has acknowledged being aware of the speculation surrounding his future at Atletico Madrid. Barcelona are often linked with the former Manchester City forward, while Liverpool were another club credited with interest early on in the summer transfer window.

The Reds went on to sign Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike instead of Alvarez. However, there remains uncertainty about how long the Argentina international will stay at Atletico.

Alvarez tells Marca : "Look, it doesn't bother me. I try not to pay much attention, but I know what's being said. It's all over social media. I think it's more what's being said online than what's actually happening.
