A doctor has shared the crucial flu symptoms to watch out for as a new strain sweeps Britain.
Dr Matthew Sweeney, who is a GP, has outlined the common signs Brits with the new 'super flu' strain seem to have been experiencing.
The "subclade K" strain of influenza A, otherwise known as "K-strain" is responsible for the majority of cases in Britain at the moment, as many fight to avoid it.
Dr Sweeney has now spoken about this strain is a "really nasty" form virus, especially as this variant is a new one which mutated over the summer.
This has meant lots of people have been hit incredibly hard by the illness as our bodies have not yet built up immunity to this strain of the flu.
