Luke Littler says he won't be attending the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards

Luke Littler has revealed he won't be attending the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year awards ceremony, despite picking up two nominations.

The 18-year-old is in contention for the main Sports Personality of the Year award and the young Sports Personality of the Year awards, with the ceremony pencilled in for December 18.

However, he has seemingly dismissed his own chances of taking away the top prize, adding that he expects newly crowned Formula One world champion, and personal pal, Lando Norris to take home the top honour.
