MUMBAI: The scourge of match-fixing has hit cricket, or more specifically, Indian domestic cricket, again. In a sensational development, the Assam Cricket Association secretary Sanatan Das informed the media on Friday that it had suspended four of its players — Amit Sinha, Ishan Ahmed, Aman Tripathi and Abhishek Thakuri — with immediate effect after allegations emerged that "they were involved in corrupt practices relating to the game of cricket" during the league stage of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy.
