MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio –A Strongsville man, 18, faces theft charges after he stole items from two vehicles parked outside Polaris Career Center, 7285 Old Oak Boulevard.

At about 11 a.m. Nov. 20, a witness reported that she saw the man pulling door handles of vehicles parked outside Polaris. She recognized the man as a Berea-Midpark High School pupil.

The witness yelled at the man, asking him what he was doing. The man ran away. Police searched the area but didn’t find the man.

Later that day, one of the victims told police that a blanket and leggings were missing from her Jeep, which had been parked outside Polaris. A gray Polaris blanket that wasn’t hers was left in the Jeep.
