FLOWOOD, Miss. — The Flowood Police Department will launch its annual “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” enforcement campaign on Friday, Dec. 12, 2025, and continue it through Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026.
Officials said the holiday effort is aimed at reducing impaired driving crashes during one of the busiest travel periods of the year. Extra patrols and DUI enforcement will focus on detecting and deterring drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Police are reminding drivers to plan ahead, use designated drivers or ride-share services and avoid getting behind the wheel while impaired.
In a statement, the department urged, “Please be responsible. Happy holidays.”
