The i Paper ’s Lucie Heath has won the Energy and Environment Journalism award at the prestigious British Journalism Awards for her reporting of the UK’s sewage crisis and campaign to Save Britain’s Rivers .
In the lead-up to the general election last year, the campaign challenged all political parties to sign up to a five-point manifesto to restore our waterways, pressuring the new Government to take action after years of negligence.
