LINCOLN, Neb. —

Husker volleyball hosts Kansas in the Sweet 16 on Friday night.

Nebraska's mantra this season is simple: banner, not names.

They have a team-first mindset with one goal in mind, hanging a sixth national title banner in the Devaney Center.

At 32-0 on the year, Nebraska is four wins away from that goal.

"I know we are grateful that we get to be here, and every week it gets harder and harder. And we understand that it's getting closer to the national championship, and it's just being grateful for where we are and being focused each day on what we're working on and what we need to get better at," said Harper Murray.

Nebraska swept Kansas in a spring match in early 2025, but coach Dani Busboom Kelly said there wasn't much to take away from that.
