Hyderabad: Swaritsinh Nakum’s century (102, 96b, 14×4, 2×6) helped Saurashtra score 245 in the first innings against Hyderabad on the first day of the Vijay Merchant Trophy (under-16) cricket championship second-round match at Mulapadu (Vijayawada) on Friday.

In reply, Hyderabad scored 64 for three at close of play.
