LAWRENCE — Although Jalon Daniels’ Kansas football career has come to an end, the recognition for his time with the program hasn’t.

According to a KU release, Daniels has been honored with the 16th Annual Pop Warner Little Scholars College Football Award. It highlights his achievements on and off the field. He’s the first Jayhawks player to ever win it, with fellow finalists this year including BYU’s Tanner Wall, Iowa’s Aaron Graves, Clemson’s Adam Randall and Kentucky’s Josh Kattus.
