Dare Ed Board names Hatteras Secondary Auditorium after iconic teacher Braxton Hall

During its Dec. 8 meeting, the Dare County Board of Education paid tribute to an iconic educator by naming the Auditorium at Hatteras Secondary School after Braxton Bragg Hall Jr., who passed away at age 70 in June 2022.
Hall, who spent 36 as an educator at Hatteras Secondary, may have had his legacy best summed up by a former student and friend who called him a “a legend of a man” in a 2022 Voice story. “He was probably the most feared and loved and respected teacher that’s ever taught at Cape Hatteras [Secondary] School.” The Outer Banks Voice – ‘He was a legend of a man’
