PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - Two people were arrested following an executed narcotics search warrant by the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office tactical team with numerous items confiscated on Wednesday morning December 10, 2025.

The sheriff’s office arrested 27-year-old Wyatt Chase Smith and 30-year-old Abbigale Boyd on scene. Smith was charged with:

Felony Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine

Felony Possession of Firearms While in Possession of Schedule I or II drugs

Boyd was charged with:

Felony Possession of Methamphetamine

On Wednesday morning, the sheriff’s office went to the 300 block of Smith Ranch Rd. in Ararat with an executed narcotics warrant.

After the arrest of Smith and Boyd, authorities confiscated these items to be used as evidence:
