A Green Bay man pleaded to recklessly endangering safety in an April car crash on Velp Avenue that one victim said he was lucky to survive .
Timothy Mossberger, 36, was charged May 22 with two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety. He pleaded no contest to one of the counts Dec. 8.
Green Bay police officers responded to Velp Avenue and Wilson Avenue just before 7 p.m. April 1 for a reported accident with injuries, according to a criminal complaint. Officers found a red Dodge Challenger and a white work van, both with extreme front-end damage, at the scene.
Jason Wright Jr., 23, of Green Bay, was identified as the driver of the Challenger, the complaint said. He was charged April 3 with two counts each of second-degree reckless injury, knowingly operating whi
