Alabama State Troopers took time to visit children at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery and to bring them a Christmas surprise.
The state troopers brought stuffed “trooper bears” to pediatrics patients at the hospital. The teddy bears are decked out in state trooper uniforms.
The state troopers were joined by Santa Claus and the Grinch as they made their special visit. Some of the children may have to spend Christmas in the hospital.
“We’re grateful for all the partnerships, especially the troopers. They sacrifice a lot of their time to come out here, bring teddy bears to all the kiddos, and really just put a smile on their face,” Chase Orozco, the pediatric nurse manager at Baptist Medical Center East, told Action 8 News.
