Zooey Deschanel is on board with pal Katy Perry 's relationship with Justin Trudeau .

While on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on the Thursday, Dec. 11 episode, Deschanel was asked by a fan what her reaction was to Perry recently going Instagram-official with the former prime minister of Canada.

"I love it. I'm so in," said Deschanel, 45.

The Merv actress , who is engaged to Property Brothers star Jonathan Scott, added, "I'm with a Canadian guy, she's with a Canadian guy. ... [They're] so nice."
