November 9, 1935 — December 10, 2025 (age 90)

If you are reading this I died. I was born on November 9, 1935, in Franklin, Idaho, in my grandfather’s house. I almost didn’t make it to Grandpa’s because our car slid off the road into a ditch and we had to get horses to pull the car out of the ditch. I was the son of Francis Duane and Anona Wright Day. My Brother Wayne and I worked the Day Family farm for years with my dad and later purchased the farm where we grew grain and hay and milked cows for a while.

I graduated from North Cache High school in 1954 and then joined the army in 1955 where I spent 18 months in Korea. I was honored to serve my country. After I returned home from Korea, I got a job at North State driving a gas tanker. In 1959 I married the love of my life Kay Olsen who I
