When Ryan Bartley was a young aspiring baseball player, he hit the road to Hamilton for high-performance training.

Now, Bartley is bringing it home.

The Owen Sound Baysox founder, fielder, pitcher, coach and all-around baseball builder recently moved his Diamond Baseball and Fitness business to a larger location (625 6th St. E, entrance in the back).

“That was the motivation behind it,” Bartley said this past Sunday during an open house of the new space. “When we were doing those long drives to Hamilton, I was thinking I wish I could just do this here at home, in Owen Sound.”
