A new heartbreak has entered the villa.

Love Island USA stars Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene , who had been dating since coupling up on season seven of Peacock series this summer, have broken up five months after the show wrapped, she confirmed.

"Ace and I actually decided to part ways," Chelley said on SiriusXM's Page Six Radio Dec. 12. "It really was a tough decision for the both of us and very hard to decide. When you love someone, sometimes loving someone means letting go. So we just got to that decision that was best."

The 28-year-old added that both she and Ace are leaving the relationship with "a mutual level of respect and understanding that we wanted this to work," but admitted that "sometimes things don't work."
