The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially ruled out linebacker T.J. Watt for Week 15 against the Miami Dolphins. Watt underwent surgery to repair a partially collapsed lung, per his brother, J.J.

“Yesterday TJ had successful surgery to stabilize and repair a partially collapsed lung suffered Wednesday after a dry needling treatment session at the facility,” Watt posted on X. “Recovery timeline is still TBD, but all went well and he is being released from the hospital today. He and his family are very appreciative of everyone’s kind words and well wishes.”

Watt experienced discomfort at the team facility on Wednesday, which led to him being sent to a Pittsburgh hospital and the eventual surgery.
