More snow is on the way for most of Massachusetts.

The National Weather Service forecasts much of the state to receive 1 to 2 inches of snow over the weekend, with flakes starting to fall on Saturday night and continuing into Sunday afternoon.

Cape Cod & the Islands are expected to see the most snow, with 3 inches forecast along the coast.

The totals lessen inland, with Boston and Worcester predicted to see between 1 to 2 inches. Some pockets in Western Mass may see less than an inch.
