Georgia Taylor-Brown signed off from her triathlon ‘gap year’ with a stunning second-place finish at the T100 World Tour final in Qatar.
Taylor-Brown had previously chalked down 2025 for some time off after the Paris 2024 Olympics but instead toed the line on a number of longer races – including the 100km distance.
The Mancunian looked right at home in Qatar despite just three previous attempts at the distance and showed her running strength to claim second place behind compatriot Kate Waugh.
It sealed seventh place in the overall series for the three-time Olympic medallist, who is hoping to use the success as a springboard into 2026. READ MORE : Gateshead triathlon star Kate Waugh bidding to seal landmark world title in Qatar
