The Blue Jays have already spent a ton of money this off-season but the expectation is that they will soon spend even more.

After signing starting pitchers Dylan Cease and Cody Ponce for a combined $240 million (U.S.), the Jays remain in the market for another big bat and a high-leverage arm for the bullpen.

The Jays frequently get mentioned as a potential landing spot for star outfielder Kyle Tucker , but there is also interest in re-signing shortstop Bo Bichette .

Bichette, who has been with the Jays organization since 2016, returned from injury to play in the World Series. Despite being noticeably hobbled by a sprained knee, the two-time all-star hit a dramatic three-run homer in Game 7 that nearly propelled the Jays to a championship.
