MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Light snow is possible across southern Wisconsin this Friday evening as an Arctic front pushes through the area. Any snow amounts will be light, with most areas seeing just a dusting.
The bigger story will be the bitterly cold air moving in behind this system. Tonight, temperatures will drop to between zero and 15 degrees below zero, with wind chills falling to a dangerous 15 to 30 degrees below zero. The coldest wind chills will be in areas away from Lake Michigan. And that is why we have called a First Alert Day for Saturday, and into Sunday
