WAUTOMA, Wis. (WBAY/WSAW) - The Waushara County District Attorney has determined there will be no criminal charges for law enforcement involved in a shooting on Oct. 16 in the Town of Wautoma.

Timothy Lehman, 51, died during a standoff with law enforcement.

A report from the Waushara County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin Department of Justice said Lehman shot at officers who were responding to a report of a domestic violence incident at N4892 State Highway 73 in Wautoma.

Deputy Alex Midthun returned fire, shooting Lehman three times. The investigation found Dep. Midthun was justified in shooting Lehman.
