The Dodgers added to their outfield depth by claiming outfielder Michael Siani off waivers from the Braves, the team announced on Friday.
Siani, 26, is a left-handed-hitting defensive specialist capable of playing all three outfield positions. He spent most of 2025 with the Cardinals' organization, slashing .209/.307/.329 with 28 stolen bases in 101 games with Triple-A Memphis.
Signings & Trades
Across parts of four Major League seasons with the Reds (2022-23) and Cardinals (2023-25), Siani hit .221 with a .547 OPS in 160 games (383 plate appearances).
Last year, Siani primarily played center field, a position where the Dodgers lack depth behind Andy Pages and Tommy Edman, the latter of whom is expected to be delayed in Spring Training while finishing his rehab from offseason ankle
