Lawyer Deepak Paradkar will have to wait until two days before Christmas to learn whether he’ll remain in a Toronto prison awaiting an extradition hearing to the United States where he faces alarming charges of cocaine trafficking and conspiracy to commit murder as part of Ryan Wedding’s international drug enterprise.
Following a three-day bail hearing , Superior Court Justice Peter Bawden told Paradkar, 62, that he’ll deliver his decision on Dec. 23.
In the meantime, the once-high flying criminal defender with the Instagram handle of cocaine_lawyer was handcuffed and returned to Toronto East Detention Centre where he’s complained of harsh conditions.
Court heard American investigators allege Paradkar is central to an international drug organization and complicit in two murders orde
