Philip Rivers is making the most unlikely comeback in recent sports memory. Nearly five years since he last played in an NFL game, Rivers will be under center as the Colts ' starting QB on Sunday.

To say its definitively the most unlikely comeback ever (though it might be) would be disingenuous to sports history. George Foreman, Magic Johnson, Mario Lemieux, Dara Torres, Bob Cousy, Kim Clijsters... you get the point. Regardless, Rivers is certainly in the conversation regardless of his comeback lasts four games or four snaps.
