FARGO — For the second time this year, biotechnology firm Aldevron has announced employee layoffs, with the most recent job cuts amounting to a 7% reduction of the company's workforce, with the largest impact occurring at Aldevron's Fargo campuses.
A prepared statement released Friday, Dec. 12, by Ellen Shafer, senior director of communications at Aldevron, said, "Aldevron is making thoughtful adjustments to align with our strategic priorities and strengthen our ability to serve the evolving needs of the biotech industry. As part of this effort, we will be reducing our overall workforce by 7 percent."
