LULING, Texas — Five years after college student Jason Landry disappeared without a trace, his family will hold a candlelight vigil tonight to mark the anniversary of his disappearance near the town of Luling.
Landry, 21, from Missouri City, was driving home for winter break when he crashed his car. Search crews discovered his clothing near the wrecked vehicle, but Landry himself was never found.
The Texas State University student vanished in December 2020, and despite countless searches for clues since his disappearance, no trace of the young man has been recovered. Another search will be launched this weekend as investigators and volunteers continue their efforts to find answers.
