PITTSFIELD TWP., MI – Fired Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore has reportedly been released from jail after facing charges connected to allegations that he confronted an ex-romantic partner and university staffer and threatened to take his own life.
Moore, 39, was arraigned on third-degree home invasion, a five-year misdemeanor, and two misdemeanor charges, including stalking, on Friday, Dec. 12, in Washtenaw County District Court.
Bond had been sent at $25,000 with a short slate of requirements, including wearing an electronic tether and having no contact with the victim, in order to be released. By late Friday afternoon, he was no longer listed as a county jail inmate.
