DODGE CITY, Kan. (KWCH) - The City of Dodge City announced on Friday that it is experiencing issues with its utility billing software. This means the city has been unable to generate bills that are normally sent at the end of November and due in the middle of December.

Because of the delay, the city says that it will not charge late fees, and there will be no shut-offs until the issue is resolved.

Residents will be given a reasonable amount of time to pay the bills once they are issued, according to the city, with due dates adjusted accordingly.

The city says bills that are normally sent in the middle of December and due at the end of the month will also be affected. Bank drafts will also not be processed at their normal time.
