The 2025 California high school football season has reached the Northern vs. Southern bowl championship stage.

In the CIF State Division 2-A title game, Sonora (14-0) makes the long trek to South Orange County from the Sierra Nevada foothills, while Rio Hondo Prep (15-0) heads a little over an hour south from Arcadia.

Opening kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m. PT on Saturday, December 13 in Mission Viejo, Calif., with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network .
