Lowkey, the LEGO video games from Traveller’s Tales have been among the best licensed games for 20 years. They somehow manage to perfectly reflect both the joy of playing with LEGO and the inherent fun of whatever property they’re implementing. LEGO Star Wars was the first of these, and those games continue to impress. However, I think the most interesting have been those set in the DC Universe, beginning with 2008’s LEGO B a tman : The Videogame . Across four games to date, they remain the most faithful (and playful) adaptations of DC Comics. Now, with the latest trailer for 2026’s LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight , Tt might just have made a masterpiece.
