The Public Information Office reports the arrest of a Suffolk County man for Driving While Intoxicated that occurred on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 4:44 a.m. in Seaford. According to Police, a 31-year-old male was operating a 2024 Ford Bronco northbound in the southbound lanes of New York State Route 135 when he struck a 2026 International Harvester Garbage Truck near exit 4. After a thorough investigation, Dominick Milazzo, 31, of Huntington Station, was placed under arrest without incident for Driving While Intoxicated. Milazzo, an off-duty Nassau County Police Officer was driving his personal vehicle. He was transported by a Nassau County Police Department Ambulance to a local hospital for minor injuries.
