Demetrious Johnson believes Anthony Joshua's fighting style could give Jake Paul an opportunity to catch him.

Paul (12-1) takes on former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua (28-4) on Dec. 19 in a boxing match at Kaseya Center in Miami. The event will stream live on Netflix.

Two of Joshua's four losses have come by knockout. Meanwhile, Paul has seven knockouts on his resume but against nowhere near the caliber of Joshua. Regardless, the former UFC flyweight champion isn't counting out Paul.

"I think Jake can knock him out," Johnson said on his YouTube channel. "Anthony Joshua's been knocked out by some weird-ass shots before. Andy Ruiz, (Daniel) Dubois knocked him out with a short overhand right. Jake Paul can land one of those shots. He can. Boxing is a sport where everyone's got a puncher's chance.

"But if Anthony Joshua doesn't get on his bicycle, start moving around, and fight Jake Paul like a boxer, like pop, pop, use that range, start hitting the body, make Jake Paul work, make him miss. Yeah, he can destroy Jake Paul, but I don't see that happening. I think he's going to try to prove a point. I feel that Jake Paul can potentially knock out Anthony Joshua."

Betting odds suggest otherwise. According to FanDuel, Joshua is a massive -1300 favorite to beat Paul, who's a +700 underdog.
