MARLIN, Texas — It was a momentous day for Marlin High School defensive lineman Brysen Maxwell-Steele, who celebrated two milestones that capped off an extraordinary high school football career.
Steele was officially selected to compete in the prestigious Army All-American Bowl, set for Dec. 21, at the Ford Center in Frisco. The honor places him among the nation’s elite high school football players and recognizes not only his talent, but his dedication and discipline.
Adding to the significance of the day, Steele also signed his official letter of intent to continue his football career at Stephen F. Austin State University, marking the next chapter in his athletic and academic journey.
"It's very special for me to do, considering nobody from Marlin has done it yet," said Steele.
